Practices offering finance by area

Each area page lists every practice; finance is shown on each practice's profile, with a monthly cost estimate where a price is published.

Types of payment plan

  • Interest-free credit: the treatment cost split into equal monthly payments, usually over a shorter term.
  • Interest-bearing finance: a loan arranged through the practice over a longer term, where you pay interest.
  • Buy now pay later: some practices accept these schemes; they are a form of credit too.
  • Membership plans: a monthly fee covering routine check-ups and hygiene visits. These are not finance, and usually don't cover bigger treatments.

What to check before you sign

  • The APR and the total amount you will repay, not only the monthly payment.
  • Whether applying involves a credit check, and whether it affects your credit file.
  • What happens if treatment changes or stops part-way through.
  • That the lender is authorised: you can check on the FCA register.

This is general information, not financial advice. DentalCompare doesn't arrange finance; ask the practice for the lender's terms.
