Dental bridge "from" prices as published by each practice, lowest first. Price details are summarised from each practice's published price list. The price you pay depends on your assessment, so always confirm with the practice.

What affects the price

A bridge replaces a missing tooth with a false tooth fixed to the teeth either side. It is made in a dental laboratory.

  • How many units the bridge has. Many practices price per unit (each false tooth and each supporting crown). A conventional bridge replacing one tooth usually has three units, and an adhesive bridge often two, so a per-unit price is not the price of the whole bridge.
  • The type: a conventional bridge, or an adhesive ("Maryland") bridge that needs less preparation of the neighbouring teeth.
  • The material and laboratory fees.

Questions to ask before you book

  • Is this price for the whole bridge or per unit?
  • Which type of bridge is it, and how much will the neighbouring teeth be prepared?
  • Is the lab fee included?

Whether a treatment is right for you, and what it will cost, can only be decided after a dentist has examined you. These prices are a starting point for comparing practices, not a quote.
