Composite bonding "from" prices as published by each practice, lowest first. Price details are summarised from each practice's published price list. The price you pay depends on your assessment, so always confirm with the practice.
What affects the price
Composite bonding adds tooth-coloured resin to the surface or edges of teeth to change their shape or close small gaps. It is usually done in one appointment without a lab.
- The number of teeth. Most practices price per tooth, so treating several front teeth multiplies the cost.
- How much resin is added: edge repairs cost less than covering the whole front of the tooth.
- Whitening first. Whitening does not change the colour of composite, so some practices suggest whitening before bonding, which is charged separately.
- Polishing and repairs over time, which may carry a charge.
Questions to ask before you book
- Is this price per tooth or for a set of teeth?
- Will you recommend whitening first, and what does that cost?
- What does it cost to repair or re-polish the bonding later?
Whether a treatment is right for you, and what it will cost, can only be decided after a dentist has examined you. These prices are a starting point for comparing practices, not a quote.
