What affects the price

A composite veneer covers the front of a tooth with tooth-coloured resin, built up by the dentist in the chair rather than made in a lab.

  • The number of teeth. Prices are almost always per tooth.
  • How much of the tooth is covered and how much shaping is needed.
  • Whitening first, if you want lighter teeth, because whitening does not change the colour of composite.
  • Repairs and re-polishing over time, which may carry a charge.

Questions to ask before you book

  • Is the price per veneer?
  • Do you recommend whitening first?
  • What do repairs cost if a veneer chips?

Whether a treatment is right for you, and what it will cost, can only be decided after a dentist has examined you. These prices are a starting point for comparing practices, not a quote.
